I strive to tell the stories of people around me and value building connections with local businesses in my community. Currently, I am a sophomore at Iowa State University studying public relations and communication studies, with an emphasis in digital storytelling and brand journalism.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved writing, designing and creating. I like work that allows me to be creative and work collaboratively. Through my work as a reporter and student life editor for the Iowa State Daily, I have grown my writing and leadership skills.

I am planning to use my passion for storytelling and creativity to pursue a career in the communications industry. When I’m not working or learning, I enjoy spending time outside, hanging out with friends and family and taking lots of pictures.
